Annapurna Dhaulagiri trekking is one of the best scenic two weeks community based tea house treks in Nepal. No other treks offer such a rich variety of spectacular scenery, peace and isolation and experience of so many diverse Himalayan culture. We stay at community run and managed lodges, whose profits directly benefit local schools and people. The trail passes through many interesting traditional villages, beautiful forests and rarely trekked high alpine pastures offers magnificent views of the spectacular Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.

Day 7: Upper Chistibung-Kopra Ridge (3600m): 3 Hours

Arrival in Kathmandu; Meet and assist by Red Rose Representative; Transfer to hotel by Private tourist Vehicle; Hotel Check in; Briefing about the trekking program; Evening free for excursion in Thamel; O/N at hotel in Kathmandu
Day 2: Kathmandu-Shyauli (1160m) (Flight time: approx 30 min; driving time: approx 1½ hours; trekking: approx 2.5 hours)
Transer to the Airport or Tourist Bust station. Arrival in Pokhara. Drive to Nayapul by private tourist Vehicle; Cross a small stream on a suspension bridge and Modi River to reach Birethanti; At Birethanti, the trekking permits are checked at the Annapurna Conservation Check Post; Arrival at Shyauli Bazaar; O/N (B L D)
Day 3: Shyauli-Ghandruk (1940m)
Climb to Ghandruk-The trail gradually climbs out of Syauli crossing a steel suspension bridge after which the trail climbs up on stone steps. Ghandruk is well known for the number of its menfolk who have served in the British Gurkha regiments. Enjoy the views of Annapurna South (7219m), Hiunchuli (6441m) and Machapuchhare (6993m) and Hiunchuli ( 6434m); O/N (B L D)
Day 4: Ghandruk-Tadapani (2450m): 4 hours
Leave the terraced hillsides and the village of Ghandruk followed by oak and rhododendron forest; Enjoy the rhododendron in full bloom. In addition, get refreshed by the spectacular views of Annapurna II (7937m), Annapurna III (7555m), Annapurna IV (7525m), Annapurna South (7237m), Machhapuchhare (6993m) and Lamjung Himal (6931m) along the way; Arrival at Tadapani; O/N (B L D)
Day 5: Tadapani-Bayli Kharka (3450m): 6 Hours
Leave the main trail that leads to Ghorepani, instead follow a rarely used trail initially through a thick rhododendron forest that leads to local water buffalo pastures; Climb gradually though open countryside to reach a small pass, where our trail descends through rhododendron to an open clearing known as Bayli Kharka; Enjoy the views of Dhaulagiri Himal; O/N (B L D)
Day 6: Bayli Kharka-Upper Chistibung (2950m): 5 Hours
Start descending through open ground and forest to reach the pastures of Lower Chistibung; Continue walking through the forest, ascending gradually and passing through several pastures and reach at Upper Chistibung; O/N (B L D)
Day 7: Upper Chistibung-Kopra Ridge (3600m): 3 Hours
Start ascending through the tree line, area noted for wildlife like Himalayan tahr and Danfe pheasant; Climb Steadily; Arrive at Kopra Ridge; Enjoy the extraordinary panorama that includes Annapurna South in south, Â Fang and Nilgiri prominent to the north, and Dhaulagiri Himal in the western part; O/N (B L D)
Day 8: Kopra Ridge-Swanta (2220m): 5 1/2 Hours
Descend off the hillside and continue steeply downhill; Reach back to Chistibung followed by the village of Swanta; O/N (B L D)
Day 9: Swanta-Ulleri (2070m): 6 Hours
Descend through the village and cross the suspension bridge followed by upwards trail to the village of Chittre; Walk through rhododendron forest and reach at Nangethanti; Trek through the forest enjoying the full blosoms of hododendron; Arrive at Ulleri in the mid afternoon; Rest of the Time explore the picturesque village; O/N (B L D)
Day 10: Ulleri-Pokhara (850m): Trek: 5 Hours; Drive: 1½ Hours
Start sharp descend over 500 metres on a stone staircase to the Bhurungdi River and arrive at Tikhedhunga; Walk along a gentle descend to the village of Birethanti, on the banks of the Modi Khola; Walk further and arrive at Naya Phul; Take a coach to Pokhara. Day 11: Pokhara (850m)
Breakfast at the Hotel; 1/2-Day Pokhara City Tour followed by a Panaramic Fewa Lake boating; Return at the Hotel; O/N
