Jomsom Muktinath Trek Difficulty:

The difficulty of Jomsom Muktinath Trek is considered to be moderate meaning it is not too easy, but also not too hard. The trail is said to be beginner-friendly but we suggest you be in good shape. You can start with walking orjogging at home to get ready for the adventure.  The trek is full of uphills and downhills and we are supposed to walk for more than 5 hours every day so you need to be mentally and physically prepared.

As we go higher up in altitude the air gets thinner which can make breathing harder and your body might go slow. The weather in the mountains is unpredictable even though the season you choose states otherwise. But you don’t have to worry much about these things as the trails are mostly easy to follow and are well maintained. We’ll be settling in comfortable lodges and tea houses with good food and beds. Red Rose Travel will guide you in every step of the trek making sure you are safe and enjoying your journey.

Altitude of the Jomsom Muktinath Trek:

The Jomsom Muktinath Trek serves you with a beautiful blend of natural and cultural beauty. The highest altitude we’ll be trekking is Muktinath Temple which sits at an altitude of 3800 meters which is a relatively moderate altitude considering the other trek the region offers. It is the reason it can be an ideal choice for beginners and those who are seeking a comfortable trek.

Jomsom Muktinath trek allows you to experience the magic of the Himalayas without pushing your physical and mental limits. But it doesn’t mean that it is easy, as 3800 meters is still consideredto have thin air, making breathing more challenging. There is always a chance of altitude sickness as you ascend over 3000 meters. Hence proper precautions like enough rest and staying hydrated to your body is very essential.
